Have you seen the new catalog of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams? They are definitely one of my go to stores for most of my e-design clients. The sofas and chairs are comfortable and their simple, modern  lines can be incorporated with most design styles.

Leisure Days…

Most of us are looking forward to the warm, leisure days relaxing by the pool, enjoying a cocktail or two and catching up with friends and family. Until then,  we can travel with these  inspirational poolside spaces.

Casa Olivi

Now that spring has kind of sprung (weather is very unpredictable these days) and the temperatures are warmer, it has me daydreaming of far away places with amazing views.

Casa Olivi, a 300 year old farmhouse, was recently restored and renovated by Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron architectural firm.

Simple, minimalist interiors.

360° panoramic views of the Italian countryside.

Can you believe this beauty was partially destroyed in a fire several years ago?

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

While watching the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s the other night with my sister, I was surprisingly impressed with the interior spaces shown in the movie.  From the color schemes to the  flocked damask wallpaper to the colored dining chairs, there is a great resemblance to the interior trends of our time. The movie was filmed in the 1960s but the story took place in the 1940s.

Jo Malone London Headquarters

Have you seen the latest issue of Lonny? There is something about the simplicity  of this 18th-century Georgian townhouse that I can’t explain. It feels so serene, but yet so dramatic. The space was designed by Rose Uniacke for the new headquarters of the world-renowned fragrance maker Jo Malone London.

Yorkville Penthouse

This bathroom took my breath away. The clean, simple lines, flooded with natural light, and from what it seems his and hers showers,it is pure perfection. What’s not to like.
